Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant with Fixed Asset & Sage Experience - Head Office, Cape Town
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper/ Junior Accountant with a strong background in fixed assets and Sage accounting software? We're looking for someone meticulous, reliable, and with a strong accounting background to join our team at our Head Office. This position offers great growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and financial records
- Manage fixed asset register, depreciation, and disposals
- Assist in preparation of interim and year-end financial results, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Bank reconciliations, and month-end processes
- Collaborate with finance team on audits and reporting
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper / Junior Accountant
- Proficiency with Sage
- Fixed asset accounting knowledge
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Advantageous:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
